After an update with Microsoft\'s \"Office Update\" facility, my copy of Word 2000 does not display the images embedded in documents any more!

Instead of the image, I see a sort of hyperlink that for some reason I am not able to copy and paste here (I have copied it by hand: {INCLUDEPICTURE \"http://www.winnetmag.com/Files/38285/Figure_01.gif\" \\* MERGEFORMATINET})

HELP!!! What can I do? I need the images inside documents!

TIA,

Mauro

Try Alt+F9 May 9, 2003

Hi,

Have you tried toggling the display of field contents?

Maybe that\'s all - but also note that, in order to embed an image that\'s on the web, you would need an active Internet connection (the GIF file is stored on a web server - you can see it here) - but it\'s not stored on your local file system).

HTH - Ralf
