Hi everybody,

When I open a Word document (Word 2008 for Mac), the toolbar right on the top of the page (menu bar, with File, Edit, View, Zoom etc.) is suddenly gone! I tried everything but to no avail (the box Menu Bar is checked, of course). Does anyone have an idea how I can get it back?

Thank you for your help,
Irene

PS: I work with Word 2008 for Mac, Mac OS 10.5.8.

Dear all,

I just found the answer to my question and am happy to share it with you:
You have to click the oval shaped thing in the top right corner of the window (on the same level as the document title) which apparently is called the chicklet

Best regards,
Irene
