It's also a problem because with the Trados add-in enabled in Word, I can't open new documents at all outside of Word: I get an error 'word cannot save this file because it is already open elsewhere', which refers to the Trados8.dotm template which Word obviously tries to open again. Then when I click OK I get a run-time error and the file fails to open.
Has anyone else had this problem? And is it fixable? (Obviously files such as email attachments can be opened by saving them to a convenient folder first and then opening them from Word, but this wastes so many seconds!)
