Russell Jones United Kingdom Local time: 14:06 Italian to English
Jun 14, 2013
I'm using Office 2007 and Windows 7.
All of a sudden, I find I have no margin at the top of the page, even though my margin settings show the standard 2.54 cm all round.
In other words, the first paragraph mark is right at the top of the page.
I must have done something by mistake, but I just can't any way of undoing it.
Any ideas please?

Show white space between pages in Print Layout View
Jun 14, 2013
Two ways:
- File Tab - Word Options - Display - check "Show white space between pages in Print Layout View"
- the other is go with the mouse to just above the top of the page. A symbol with an arrow pointing up and one pointing down will appear. Click to display again the space.
This at least in Word 2010 - might be slightly different in Word 2007

Double click on the separate line between any two pages in your doc/docx file
Jun 14, 2013
Dear Russell,
Just, double click on the separate line between any two pages in your doc/docx file or at the top of the first page, this will show the white space hidden. If my guess is correct, this will do the trick.
Let us know.
BR,
Mohamed

Many thanks Riccardo
Your second option was the easiest to locate in 2007. Double click worked.
Most grateful.
P.S. Thanks Mohamed too.
