In other words: * if the cell's value is 1.8, I want to round it to 2.0. * if the cell's value is 1.7, I want to round it to 1.5. * if the cell's value is 1.6, I want to round it to 1.5. * if the cell's value is 1.4, I want to round it to 1.5. * if the cell's value is 1.3, I want to round it to 1.5. * if the cell's value is 1.2, ... Here is a really good and clear tutorial that shows you the formula to use: http://spreadsheets.about.com/od/excelfunctions/qt/90212mround.htm You w... You can then just drag this formula down to apply it to all cells. ▲ Collapse | | | here's how it looks on my Excel | Oct 1, 2013 |
=MROUND(A1;0,5) as an example. I'm using 2007 and the non-English number format though so you may need to adjust accordingly. Oh and I forgot to say, make sure you format the results column to show at least one decimal place or Excel will round up/down even further.

Multiply by 2, round it to the nearest integer, divide by 2. Best, Attila | |
