Dear All.. Pls advice

I need to know the method of converting text in a bmp file into a word file of microsoft word.
Is there any way i can do it?

Please help if possible

BMP file is a bitmap file Oct 22, 2005

and thus does not content any editable text. This is a very simple graphics file.
The only way you could possibly convert it to editable version is using an OCR application, such as Abbyy Fine Reader.
You can find more information about Abby FineReader here.

But do not expect wonder - possibly you will need a lot of editing work with converted text afterwards.

Like ScanSoft OmniPage. Bmp files are supported.

which is a kind of a printer, but in reverse: when you print onto it, you end up in Microsoft's OCR software, which gets you a word file.

Hint: you can use it to get at contents of pwd-locked PDF files (which was probably the intention of Microsoft too, among other things).

Another option is the screenshot reader that comes with FineReader 8 when you buy it. I find it very handy.
