I have a problem in WORD. When I write a line and then go back to one letter to change, the curser steps and delet the next letter.

Any help!

Obviously you switched the "Overwrite" function on Dec 7, 2005

I don´t know which language version of Word you are using.
In the english one you could see the letters "OVR" in the status bar appearing in black.
By double clicking them you could switch the overwrite modus off.

You can do this also via menu Tools - Options - Edit by deselecting the "Overtype" box.
