Hello.

I have a word macro that will save a file to a specified directory. You have to name the file and the macro will always name it so (e.g. "translation") This is the code I have:

ActiveDocument.SaveAs FileName:="C:\Program Files\PocoMail4\Attach\translation"

However, I want to save the file with whatever name I gave it when I initially saved it to a different directory. So if I named it "certificate", I want the macro to save it as "certificate".

How could I go about doing this?

Thanks.

Reed

For example this code should work:

MyString = ActiveDocument.Name

ActiveDocument.SaveAs FileName:="C:\Program Files\PocoMail4\Attach\" & MyString
