Outlook not recognizing WinZip files

I recently installed WinZip (previously used WinRar). Everything works fine except for the attachment of zipped files to an e-mail in Outlook. When I browse to the file that I want to attach I can see it in the directory, but I cannot attach it to the mail. Outlook doesn't even seem to recognize that it is there (the setting is on "all files").
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution? Help!

Hi Rebecca Mar 7, 2007

Try this:

Open the folder where you have the WinZip file. Make it a bit smaller. Than, on the other part of the screen open the message to which you want to attach the file. Drag the WinZip file from the folder right into the message. No matter where you drop it in the message, it should attach automatically. If it doesn’t, see what the error message is.

I hope this helps.

Henry
