I've read this old discussion recently:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/OmegaT/message/16530
I really miss the possibility to insert glossary matches to every segment automatically, or with one keyboard short cut for all glossary matches in that segment, like here.

The word order in Czech and Polish is often very similar, this would help me a lot...

Has there been any development of this feature? Can I hope to find it in some future version of OmegaT? Or did the developers decide not to make it?

Right click Dec 6, 2011

In 2.5.0_02, which is what I'm using, you highlight the term in the glossary and right click, and it inserts it in your text. I'm not sure how long this has been an option.
Also ctrl+g creates a glossary entry from the highlighted word in the source text.

That's not the point Dec 6, 2011

Thanks Susan.
I know about the right clicking, but I need to insert all the translations from the given segment at once, each in place of the original word, the feature described in the discussion on yahoo groups.
Right clicking is useful, however, it is time consuming.

Try the yahoo list Dec 6, 2011

You'll get more of a response there. I don't know the answer to your question. In my language pairs it would not be useful, I don't think.

no such functionality. That’s life. AFAIK, there’s been an RFE on such feature, but its implementation is a matter of more or less distant future. If you want it quick, learn Java and code

With the new scripting plugin, it could be in other languages.

I'm working on this feature, maybe I will have some usable result it in a few days/weeks. BTW I totally love the new feature that replaces numbers, thanks for implementing it! OmegaT is becoming more and more helpful, good job!

Ctrl+Space Feb 22, 2015

In OmegaT version 3.1.8 I randomly discovered that Ctrl+Space loads up Glossary entries, Autotext entries, Character table and Missing tags in a tiny window - you can navigate through them with Ctrl+PageDown/Up and press Enter to add what you select! All without even using your mouse.

It's (very) briefly described in the manual, in the Keyboard shortcuts appendix:

And some more shortcuts! Feb 23, 2015

Thank you Didier, I was looking for shorcuts and hadn't found that appendix before! From that link I followed on to another page with even more shortcuts and details on how to personalize them for the ones that don't exist (for the menu items):
http://omegat.sourceforge.net/manual-standard/en/appendix.shortcut.custom.html#ch04.shortcuts.customization
