Hi there,

I would be much appreciated someone to tell me if there's something wrong with me in dictionaries research for the tar.bz extension, or there's really something wrong on the net.

So far could not find anything that after download and unzipping may contain dz, idx and ifo extensions.

Tried several links related to the OmegaT guide and also made some research for my own bypassing OmegaT and aiming right on the targeted files but I came up with nothing yet that could satifsfy my issue.

Thanks to all of you,

Have a nice weekend.

I have found Stardict dictionaries with the .tar, tar.bz, .tar.bz2, .rpm and even noarch.cpio extensions.

Look rather for the languages.
"english italian stardict" gives an RPM site as a first result:
http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=stardict-freedict-eng-ita

The RPM package can be opened with 7-Zip for instance. Go deep inside the folder until you find the dictionary files.
