I’ve installed OmegaT+, Java, and OpenOffice and I still can’t get my document to open.

OmegaT+ is not the same as OmegaT Jul 27, 2016

This site has nothing to do with OmegaT+.

For OmegaT, see OmegaT.org

I'm really new to this.. Jul 31, 2016

Okay, now I've dowloaded, unzipped, and installed the dictionaries using SpellChecker Setup, but I can't figure out how to get anything to show up under "Dictionary."

To see something in the Dictionary pane, you need to install monolingual or bilingual dictionaries:
http://omegat.sourceforge.net/manual-standard/en/chapter.dictionaries.html

You can access the manual by pressing "F1".

If you need more help, I recommend subscribing to the Yahoo user group:
