W Hiszpanii "tata" oznacza nianię opiekującą się dziećmi.
Przy okazji zajrzałam do "Słownika języka hiszpańskiego" wyd. przez Hiszpańską Akademię Królewską i - o dziwo - dowiedziałam się, że w niektórych krajach latynoamerykańskich termin "tata" to pieszczotliwe określenie ojca.

Tata means father/dad/Jesus in Kichwa and Quechua as well
I've also heard taita and tayta.
