Would be interesting to repeat this next year, once we've been through (probably) 12 months of credit crunch. I've had a good year, but an awful last 5 weeks. I put best yet, though that's possibly not true if I take inflation into account.
I lack option "worse then previous year, but not the worst". Anni | | | Interlangue (X) Angola Local time: 04:19 English to French + ... Slightly better | Dec 27, 2008 |

Although 2008 is better than previous years, I hope 2009 will be the best. "I see my cup half-full not the half-empty" | | | About the same | Dec 27, 2008 |
My year was about the same as last year in terms of revenue (my choice to limit revenue) however, my source texts were more interesting this year.
I wonder why there is no option "usual"? This year has been just usual, except for the last two months we've been living under the sinister shadow of credit crunch. | | | lillkakan Local time: 04:19 English to Swedish
How about the option "Neither better nor worse than last year"...? Strange poll.

as already discussed. However, my financial year ends on 5 April 2009, so there is still time for things to pick up. If I included figures for the past 12 months only, it would no doubt be a different story. I do not expect this financial year to be as good as the last due to the credit crunch (I specialise in construction and they're not building much in Spain at the moment). | | | Yasser Moharram Egypt Local time: 04:19 Member (2008) English to Arabic + ... what about "Other" option | Dec 27, 2008 |
lillkakan wrote: How about the option "Neither better nor worse than last year"...? Strange poll. Dear colleague, There are unlimited options which could not be mentioned here. So, you can choose "other", if you don't find your preferred option. Happy New Year

This may not allow you do as good a translation as you would be able to do in your field of expertise, but allows you to receive more work! I think your plan is a good one:-)
