My biggest concern... Jul 10, 2009

...for quite some time is how the heck is modern society going to survive the ever-increasing pressure of Governments and politicians, who of course decide to tighten the grip a little bit more every week, squeezing us for more and more money while they use that exact money to interfere more and more in our private sphere with regulations on what we should think, speak, and do with our lives. The number of things you can do today without a permit or without breaking some law is rapidly decreasing.

So what would solve my biggest concern at the moment is how are we regular citizens going to recover a reasonable degree of freedom and control of our lives, so that we can be confident that our children will not be servants of the Government, but reasonably free, responsible citizens.

Moving home Jul 10, 2009

I'd like a buyer for my current home so I can move on to my dream house before someone snaps it up!

Frustrated for wishing to do a lot of interesting and useful things and being unable to cope with that.

How about an extra 4 hours a day?icon_biggrin.gif

(I'm not complaining about work, but it seems a long time since I just went shopping...)

Company Jul 11, 2009

If I had my own company, I would have more free time, money, leisure and many of the above.

a bit of everything Jul 11, 2009

Time: well sometimes i would need to stop a t 6 and enjoy a good book, but with two children it is impossibile

Work/Money: tax period for me.... a more regular work flow would be nice... but obviously orders have decreased exactly now - that' the big problem

Company: oh yeah, I would like to be invited for dinner so I shouldn't spend time cooking and cleaning, but it seems like every friend of ours enjoys our place, so we have guests everyday--- so "Please guys, we have two babies and we're not a restaurant, and we would be pleased to taste your cuisine!"

Rest Jul 11, 2009

I said other, because it's kind of a mix between time, health and leisure. I want to SLEEP!icon_smile.gif
I am 9 months pregnant and furiously working to finish up all my contracts over the next week or so, with the hope that I will have at least a week before the baby is due to rest, relax, paint nursery, etc. Combine an overflowing work schedule with another sick child at the moment who is keeping me up at night, and the fact that one never really sleeps soundly with a basketball weighing heavily on one's stomach and, well, I haven't been getting a lot of ZZZZs lately. Knowing that this isn't going to get any better in a few weeks from now once the little tyke arrives is making that desire to get sleep NOW all the stronger.

No real concerns now... Jul 11, 2009

although a win at the lotto would certainly make my life between two far-away countries a lot easier...icon_smile.gif

4 hours a day extra - or even a couple more than that, why not? - would also be nice, but I don't think they'll ever be enough!! So I try to cope with what I've got...

And after reading Tomàs answer, well, I can only agree with it...unfortunately..but who doesn't worry about what's happening in the world??

Strange Jul 11, 2009

I'm really suprised nobody has mentioned love at all in their responses and the poll gives 40% to money. Makes you wonder.
