With the agency, that informs me, that there will be a proofreading, I have an arrangement, that they send me the poofread translation for final approval, because the proofreaders often are lost in a technical text, improve it but at the same time destroy the technical content, whereby e.g. the removal of a comma may turn the message to the contrary. I have seen terrible things in that respect.
