No Aug 30, 2010

Mine is still quite cluttered and top heavy. Am usually too busy to do anything about it. I recently removed some categories (financial/legal) since I wasn't getting or enjoying much work in these areas and am now tending to specialise more in my others...
When I have time to spare, I should really check out some of the references given too, for example some website texts that I translated years ago were never uploaded onto the sites by the clients, presumably to save money, so if you follow the links you find an MT botched monstrosity.

Depends on the definition of complete Aug 30, 2010

It is complete to my satisfaction but probably not to the satisfaction of the site people.

My profile is complete except for items I just can't fill out - availability and blue board.

Just the WWA! Aug 30, 2010

Mine is complete for the moment, except for a WWA entry! I'm hoping to get one soon so I can get that nifty little green mark on my profile.

There is a point when work history, work samples, availability in percent and such might even look a little bit silly...

Completeness Aug 30, 2010

The definition is quite plain: there's a percentage of completion displayed in your profile, so that's what we're talking about, I guess. It includes mandatory fields and recommended fields. Then, there are also additional fields.
To answer Nicole and Alexander, I think that work history, availability and blue board are not counted at all in the profile completeness. Work samples is only an recommended field, not mandatory.

I chose not to put any samples there, so I answered "no", though Proz says it's 100% complete.

I just wish I could publish there samples of cheap translations I was hired to fix/redo, but these clients asked me not to do it, even on my own web site.
