I don't usually notice what language I dream in. But, as I currently live in a country where my native language (English) is not spoken I find that unlike some of the responses here I dream in my second language when I visit a country where my native language is spoken for longer periods, and then when I return I dream in English for a few weeks. but I have had dreams where people were talking in an unintelligible language, gibberish..like I'd dial the phone and the person would pick up and speak some unknown language. But not in years....

My Brazilian husband told me I talked in my sleep in Portuguese. Of course that made sense because he was right there. It happens when I've been speaking Portuguese all day. It doesn't happen for me in Spanish, even though I lived in Mexico for a while.

I always dream in English, although I am a native Greek. English is like a mother tongue to me. It has always been like this, since I was a child and I had first started learning English. My grandmother says I could be an old english soul
