Unless I need to go out during my “lunch break”, in which case I may stop for a snack and a drink on my way.

Although I don't keep an account of this kind of thing, I do eat out a lot, so it's probably about 50-50. Sometimes when I eat lunch at home it's simply to use up leftover or already-prepared food and some weeks I might eat out every day.

Totally agree with Enrico! Healthier, cheaper and I can have my kids around. Definitely one of the things I would miss most if I had to work in an office again.

As someone who only eats when hunger "calls", there is no such thing as lunch, per se.

But in general, I do eat at home.

everyday, almost Apr 13, 2013

I eat at home everyday. Sometimes, if I have to go out and buy some stuff or I simply want to spend a bit of time with friends, I can have lunch with them, but this happens 4/5 times in a year.

Our children are grown and gone, and my wife works at home too, so we usually eat lunch at home, but once or twice a week, just for a change, or because we have to go out for some other reason like the bank, shopping, etc., we may eat lunch outside.
As Enrico said, it's one of the countless advantages of this job. FREEDOM!

Lunch? Apr 14, 2013

I only have one meal a day, in the evening. Eating never crosses my mind during the rest of the day.
