I wouldn't anyway but Jun 24, 2016

I probably wouldn't be allowed into the country now.

Anyway, who needs an international conference when we could just have a national conference. We don't need the rest of the world. Nigel for PM!

Much as I like Stockholm I steer clear of any kind of even remotely work-related events as a rule.

But I might consider it if you pay the airfare and 4-star hotel expenses icon_biggrin.gif

To be perfectly honest, I did not even know it was taking place.

Yes, no, probably not Jun 24, 2016

Maddeningly, it is the same weekend as the Danish powwow, and we set the date first!

I can't be in both places at once. Even though Trados thinks Stockholm is 'a city near you', it actually means a whole day's travel or many hours sitting about in airports each way. Apart from that, there is a third event, not work-related, which I am sorry to miss, but life's too short to be annoyed. I must do that another time.

Have a good conference!

Please tell me you're joking! Since this morning I really don't know anymore what's what in this world... I am at a loss. As are many or rather all of my friends and family.

Edited to add: #Brexit

Stockholm? Will we hobnob with royalty? Jun 24, 2016

If not, I'm staying home.

Actually, I'll be staying home as I'm having surgery in August.

Yes Jun 27, 2016

A visit to Sweden has been on my wish list for ages.

@ Katrin: No worries, nothing will change until the UK invokes Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty and the negotiations are over (said Article 50 allows 2 years for that). So at least for us it's business as usual for the foreseeable future.

Footie now...
Forza Italia! (I might regret this on Saturday.)
