A major benefit of being self-employed Nov 2, 2005

I usually try to take at least 2 consecutive weeks of vacation, just to get away from it all for a time.
However, what I particularly appreciate in being my own boss, is the possibility of taking a day off at very short notice, or simply deciding to spend an afternoon with my son.
