Deserted island May 19, 2007

For the moment... I am going through a very rough day... Thank heavens there is a place online with fun surveys that can help me unwind a bit!

Well, the beach is not that far away in the Isla del Encanto. I responded "the beach" anyway. May 19, 2007

In memoriam
Where I am May 20, 2007

I have already spent over 3 years by the beach. Beautiful as it is, I am now glad to be back on the Border.

Weather at the beach = 55 degrees.

Weather on the border = 85 degrees.

I like it hot, and soon it will be much hotter.

Then I'll go back and check out the beach.

"Everybody gotta be someplace" May 20, 2007

That's what ex-baseball player, Diego Seguí said. I think that Santiago, Chile is a really nice place to be and I'm glad to be here.

bed May 20, 2007

I'm already in the mountains (foothills, anyway), and not really fond of beaches.

I had no particular reason to be up and about at 6:20 a.m. today (Sunday), other than the fact that first the cat and then the dog decided it was time. One I can maybe ignore for a bit, but not both of them at the same time. And once I'm up, that's it, can't get back to sleep, so here I am...but I'd rather be in bed.

Depilatory cream May 20, 2007

I must admit that I am not very fond of beaches, so I chose the mountains. "Beach or mountain" was the subject of several depilatory creams in Spain. This poll reminded me of the ad folks...

Mountains! May 20, 2007

I live on the Mediterranean Sea and can go to the beach anytime all year round, so I chose the mountains - especially since we are heading for hot weather, which does NOT agree with me! Give me the mountains anytime.

Right where I am May 20, 2007

Call me a homebody, but since today's Sunday, I answered "right where I am". I like being at home.

PS. I will be going out for lunch later though, and then a stroll along the beach!

Any of the above... May 20, 2007

I answered any of the above because I REALLY don't want to be working right now, ESPECIALLY on a beautiful sunny Sunday - but I've got a deadline tomorrow so there's no getting out of it

To be honest, I'd rather be out with my horse, cantering through the vineyards here on the Rhine.

Our favourite place is Scotland and we're going in about a month's time, but I would love to be there right now.
