Caros colegas,

Recentemente, recebi na minha caixa do correio electrónica, um e-mail da empresa Debta, que diz o seguinte:

"Hello.

Do you have lot of unpaid invoices that clients are unwilling to pay?
The translation business is tough and competitive one, but it is a lot
tougher when clients don't pay invoices. Take a look at
www.debtacollections.com where you can submit unpaid invoices for free debt collection.
You don't pay any start-up fee or start-up percentage. The recovered
money is sent directly to you, not to Debta. 84% of the invoices Debta
sends out for collection are paid within 30-60 days. Just the act of
involving a third party can be enough to make debtors pay.

You work hard to earn your money. Let us work to collect it for you.

Best regards

Já alguém tinha ouvido falar desta empresa? Será credível ou apenas "spam"?
Achei que devia partilhar convosco

Cumprimentos,

Teresa

Basta ler o texto abaixo extraído do site da empresa. Desculpem, mas está em inglês. Resumindo para quem não entende essa língua: o tradutor não paga nada, nem antes, nem depois. A empresa cobra do cliente devedor. Só que o texto não diz qual é a percentagem acrescida ao valor da fatura devida (nem os métodos utilizados para a cobrança. Our debt collection service is free of charge for you. You don't pay anything when submitting invoices for collection. Debta will add the compulsory collection fee to your original invoices when sending the debt demands to the debtor - which the debtor will pay, not you. We operate on a "No collection - no fee" basis. Simply put, "We do not get paid unless you do". You don't pay any start-up fee or start-up percentage.

Unlike other agencies, the recovered money is sent directly to you, not to us. Debta does not interfere with your cash flow. At other debt collecting agencies, the debtor normally sends your money to the agency, and the agency keeps half. You'll get your share as the debtor payments come into the agency. This system is not very effective. You'll have no idea who paid, when they paid, or how much they paid - until you receive your statement from the debt collection agency.

We do not feel it necessary to charge our customers either advance fees or annual retainer fees. Many of our competitors require advance fees and feel that it is important to their business; they will give you various reasons why it is necessary for you to pay them before they have started to work for you.

We are extremely confident in our recovery system and believe we have the staff and experience that will achieve the results that you expect. While no collection agency can guarantee 100% results, we believe we have tailored an approach that will ensure the best possible results for your company. No matter how old or the size of the balance, we work equally hard on all accounts - including smaller and older claims.
