Internet denizens began re-tweeting messages from the Telus Fund Twitter handle that were so badly translated they were barely legible.

The article you linked says the management of that Twitter account was entrusted to a third party, so, if that's true, the blame would lie with them (together with the sub-contractor they might have hired to translate that content).

At any rate, it would be interesting to know who they are...
