Hi everyone Jun 23, 2004

I can't believe nearly 30 people have signed up for the Brighton powwow already! This is shaping up to be a great event!
Perhaps it's time for us to decide on a date and time for our get-together. My preference is Saturday, 28 August in the afternoon but we could also meet in the evening or on Sunday. It really depends on what the majority wants to do. Please post your views and let me know which date is best/worst for you.

I have no problem with Saturday afternoon or evening (prefer afternoon). Prefer it from Sunday.

See you all there,
Effie

Any time Saturday ... Jun 23, 2004

.. would probably be better for me, too, but being a Bank Holiday, will probably make a weekend of it anyway. Not exactly on my doorstep!

Yes, Saturday... Jun 24, 2004

best for me too - any ideas of where to meet yet, Nicole? Looks like there's going to be quite a few of us - picnic in the park/on the beach?

picnic is one option Jun 24, 2004

but what do we do if the weather is no good (like today - howling wind and driving rain)? It might be safer to book a table/room in a restaurant/bar/cafe. If anyone has any suggestions, do tellicon_wink.gif

otherwise how about a restaurant/bar/cafe
