Proposed change to October 2nd Aug 18, 2008

This is again a Thursday, so I cannot guarantee if I can make it until closer to the date. I will try my best though.

Cannot make it this time Sep 30, 2008

As anticipated, impossible to attend on a Thursday as the expected miracle has not taken place. Maybe another time (weekend please!).

Post mortem Oct 3, 2008

Hi Nicole and thanks for organising. Pleasant lunch, nice to meet new faces and weren’t we lucky to have weather like that while we skyved off for half a day?
Jamie was great. Sitting there clearly making mental notes and showing no signs of boredom about translator chit-chat. Du sollst auch Deutsch mit ihm reden, damit er ein Top-Übersetzer wird.

You mentioned Düsseldorf, I think. Coming up soon.

Finally: to enjoy the World Service (plus 6,000 odd further stations) through the comfort of your own hi-fi and without needing laptops, small speakers etc., here is the widget I talked about.
