Coffee instead Feb 26, 2009

Hello everyone,

No powwow tonight but we'll meet for a coffee at Falko's early next week. Let me know if you're interested and I'll tell you more!

Monday's a bit busy but I could do Tuesday or mid afternoon if it has to be Monday.
Can't wait to catch up with all of you and hear your story Marion.

Great! The most likely date so far is Tuesday afternoon. There is no story, by the way - I just meant I'd tell you more about the meeting.

Glad you can make it too, Amandine. Tuesday 3pm at Falko's? You can also email me in case you need more information.

See you then!

I'll try to make it, but not sure... Feb 26, 2009

Hi there,
Cool, that's a good idea. I'd like to go, but I'm going to Barcelona on Thursday and Wednesday is likely to be a crazy day. Well, most of next week is supposed to be quite busy. Anyway, let me know when you decide on a time on Wed and I'll take it into account.
Cheers,
Ramon

Wednesday Feb 26, 2009

The one in Gullane is shut on Mondays; the one in Edinburgh both Mon&Tue, it seems. It's a true story...

Ramón, you're going to Barcelona AGAIN? Hope you and Emma can make it though!
Let's say Wednesday at 2.30pm at Falko's? Hope to see you all there!

PS: Sorry for all the spamming...my email account is overflowing as well.

Another story... Feb 27, 2009

...told by someone else. There's a series of guest lectures at Edinburgh University, and the next one is on Wednesday:

Tim Martin, European Commission
Translation Quality: Upstream, Instream and Downstream Considerations
Wed., 04 Mar. 2009, 3.15-5.15pm, University of Edinburgh

So, do we spoil our tummies or our brains?

Hi Marion Feb 27, 2009

I´m just replying to your note that I have in my e-mail inbox, but for some strange reason can´t see here on the powwow page.
I´m in for the lecture you proposed going to next Wednesday. Maybe we can spoil our tummies afterwards
Manuela

Lecture Feb 27, 2009

The note is on the "View report" page and not on the "View sign up" page, that's why - took me a while to find it, too.
I don't have time afterwards because I've got volleyball training, but maybe before?

Found it... Feb 27, 2009

Yes, let´s see what the others have to say about it. A bite beforehand should be fine as well...

I would love to attend the lecture but couldn't hang around after. Meeting up beforehand would be fine though. Denise
