Change of date Brighton Translators’ Meetup... Sep 3, 2012

Because one person won't be able to make it on the 29th, I propose changing the date to the 6th of October (the next Saturday). Same time, same place. Please let me know what is best for you...

Michael

OK, I changed the date to the 6th! Sep 5, 2012

There are a few other people who I am expecting to sign up soon, and I am also in the process of spreading the word via Twitter and various mailing lists...

Date changed to Saturday the 13th of October! Sep 6, 2012

Because someone can't make it on the 6th, I was thinking of sliding the date one week forward again, to Saturday the 13th of October. The meetup is still scheduled to start at 13:00, but can also be changed if people feel that it should be earlier or later.

Does anyone object to the 13th?

Michael

PS: The more people that sign up the better! Even if you might not be able to make it, please sign up here so we can get an idea of how many people are interested.

Hello Clive! Sep 17, 2012

We are now at 7! Quite a respectable number, I'd say, for a first powwow.

I hope most of us will be able to make it.

booking the venue (Cafe Delicé in Brighton) Sep 24, 2012

Hello everyone!

I called the café today where we will be holding the meetup and was asked to call back one week before the date. I told them that we would be a group of perhaps 9, perhaps less. Hopefully most of us will be able to make it!

If you want to have a look at the venue, here is their website: http://www.cafedelice.co.uk/ (Cafe Delicé in Brighton)

Too bad it's daytime rather than evening Sep 24, 2012

There's an 18 yr birthday party in my house that evening/night and have to find somewhere else to twiddle my thumbs. A trip to Brighton might just have been what the doctor ordered.

Hi Madeleine, Sep 25, 2012

It's a shame you won't be able to make it. I chose to schedule it in the daytime because I thought it might be easier for people coming from outside of Brighton.
