san francisco-date Dec 26, 2012

Hi everybody,

I'm waiting to confirm my classes for next year, but I hope it won't interfere and that I will get the chance to assist. Is there any other day already scheduled for next year in the Bay Area just in case I end up having classes that day?

Thanks!

Maria

Looking for an organizer Dec 27, 2012

Hi Friends,

It would be great if someone local in SF could organize this event. It is not complicated, basically you should find a place where we can meet for a few hours. It can be a place for beers and/or coffee. It could even be a home, or any sheltered place fit for having some good time together. Noisy places can be a bad idea, as this will get in the way of communications.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Crossroads Cafe: 699 Delancey Street (Brannan at Embarcadero Muni stop, 8-10 min south of Market St Dec 27, 2012

Hi everyone and Hi Enrique!
I"m happy to organize this and suggest the location. Previous pow-wows have occurred successfully at Crossroads Cafe, on Delancey Street (right behind Delancey Street Restaurant). This is a 8-10 min walk south of Market Street (if you go down Spear); or two stops on Muni south of Market (along Embarcadero). The cafe web site is here:
http://www.delanceystreetfoundation.org/entercafe.php
They have lots of tables, lots of space, it is never noisy. Especially weekday evenings.
I note that February 4th is a Monday night. I believe they're open until 8pm. I can reserve a space for us if that works?
I look forward to seeing everyone there!

time/date - Monday Feb. 4th 6pm? Dec 29, 2012

Glad you like the location. Per Maria's question: Enrique does Monday Feb. 4th at 6pm work for you? If so I will book a table for 10 or 12 (whatever they can do) at that time.
