Hi,

I am interested in attending a course/workshop(s) in Legal Translation (English to Italian).
I live and work in Manchester and I cannot attend the City University MA in London.
I have been looking for a long time and I cannot find anything.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Chiara

Why don't you Oct 10, 2011

look into IOL's Dip Trans? It has a legal option and you can do the course long-distance or in person to prepare for the exam.

Good luck!

If your target language is Italian, I think you should look into courses in Italy.
I know Serena De Palma offers several courses you can attend over the weekend: http://www.inglese-giuridico.it/template.php?pag=67858

I teach at an online Master in specialized English into Italian translation and we have a very good teacher for Legal translation into Italian. However, you need to attend other classes in addition to the Legal Translation one, I don't know if this is suitable for you. The big advantage is that it's online so we have Italian students from all over the world. More info here: http://www.mastertraduzionespecialistica.it/

Laura

P.S. I have just noticed you indicated Italian into English in your profile. Our master is for English into Italian translators.
