The Société Suisse des Auteurs have come out with the Application Guidelines for their theatre translation grants in 2005.

A dossier containing:
- Translator's CV with contact data
- Original author's CV with contact data
- Author or copyright holder's authorization to translate, specifying terms as regards royalties
- Declaration mentioning place of creation and performance dates in the original language, or declaration of the professional theatre c

- Author or copyright holder's authorization to translate, specifying terms as regards royalties
- Declaration mentioning place of creation and performance dates in the original language, or declaration of the professional theatre company attesting that the work to be translated will be staged in public
- Full text of the original theatre piece
- Sample 3 to 5-page translation of a key scene
