Publishing companies interested in the work of Catalonian authors may request information on available translation grants from the Institut Ramón Llull, founded by the governments of Catalunya and Baleares for the promotion of Catalonian culture. Subsidies last year were awarded for Hindi, Romanian, French, German, Dutch, Spanish and Italian. Press releases indicate that guidelines for applications for 2005 will be out soon, probably in mid-March. They may be requested through:
