MAEC scholarships Apr 10, 2007

Hello! I just want to make sure I understand the MAEC scholarship offer (for Programa 1A http://becasmae.es/ ) - they pay for room and board, give you a stipend, but don't pay tuition, is that correct? Thank you!

Nikki

For Program 1A, see pp. 16-17 of the PDF Apr 10, 2007

under "Dotación":

"Matrícula hasta 2.000 euros de ayuda individual, si lo requiren los estudios para los que se concede la beca".

There are public university programs which the State can foot, and which rarely exceed 2,000 euro, and private university programs which can cost as high as 12,000 euro. The State will not give more than 2,000 euro for such private study programs. On the other hand, if you take a public university program costing 1,500, don't expect to get 500 extra.
