English to Spanish
Jan 28, 2007

I decided to learn a new language, it would be the third one. My native tongue is Spanish and I know English because I've been studying it for a long time. I am fond of languages and that's why I thought about learning a third one but do not know which one.

Let's see:

*From what I've told, in Europe, French and German are important after English.
*In USA, there are more French students than German ones.
*Argentina receives lots of Brazilians travellers on holidays so Portuguese is another possibility.
*Italian is mainly spoken in Italy.
*Chinese, Arabian and Japanese are difficult.

I am in two minds, do not know if German or French would be better for me

Having in mind all this, What would be easier and more useful for me? (in terms of translation and tourism business)
