Can *clients* (not translators) post Blueboard comments and ratings?

One of our formerly regular clients (proZ name JWD) refused to pay us for a 100% correct deliverable and sent a highly offensive and abusive email to a female linguist.

If ever there was a case to warn others and rate agencies, this is it. We rated the company with a \"1\" under its name: \"Savannah Digital\".

The owner of the company James W. Dewbury (JWD on ProZ) then retaliated by giving us a rating of \"1\". But he has never worked for us: the opposite is true -- we worked for him (for free).

So how can the line \"Willingness to work for this agency again:\" make any sense. Surely the purpose of the Blueboards are for suppliers to rate clients, not for one company to bad mouth another as revenge.

The agency rating page now prevents ratings if:

1) The rater\'s entity ID is the same as that of the agency they are rating

2) The rater\'s email address is the same as that of the agency they are rating

Cleaning the Blue Board will take some time, but we are committed to making it better.

Job poster rated own agency again May 28, 2002

It looks like an agency has given itself a good rating again. A job posted for Wescon French>English came up yesterday and in looking at the BlueBoard, I think that it is the poster who rated himself.

I hope that this can soon be fixed and prevented.
