English to French
Relevance of the process Mar 6, 2013

In the English-French combination, the text of the winner is not bad, but it is filled with translation errors. Other texts were technically better translations, which brings me to question the relevance of the process. The process requires those who want to vote to read carefully the translation of 5 contestants, something I would think that only official judges would take the time to do. I also wonder about the qualifications of those who vote for the best translation. As in the Kudoz questions process, this one here needs to be reformulated, in my humble opinion. The actual processes lead to very unprofessional results.
