1) If you plan to exchange cash into CZK, be aware that some exchange offices in the centre of Prague may use dirty tricks and sell you reasonably less CZK than one would expect (for example buying 1 euro for 17 CZK instead for some 24 CZK). They can for example offer relatively good rates, but only later it turns out that these are valid for large volumes. You can Google-translate this: http://www.mesec.cz/clanky/vitejte-v-praze-legalni-kradeze-prazskych-smenaren/

2) I assume within +/- 200 conference participants, there will be some Catholics. If you need some assistance in finding a Catholic church/Divine service near where you stay, just let me know here or privately. The nearest church to Olympik hotel seems to be "sv. Cyrila a Metoděje" on "Karlínské náměstí", just three tram stops or about 1,5 km from the hotel (towards the town centre) - http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=50.091295,14.448062&spn=0.002385,0.004823&z=18
In this particular church, the Mass should take place at 9:00 am and at 6:30 pm on Sunday.
