I am furious. I have just read a job offer for translators in Uruguay (the first one in ages) but it has a catch. You must provide 5 patients and do the survey too. Now this is the sort of thing that should not appear in Proz. No further commentary is necessary, I think.

The offer says "not-straightforward translation". Wouldn't it be sensible to contact the outsourcer and ask for more info? If you don't like the offer, you don't take it, if you do, you quote accordingly to the task requested.

That's exactly what I have done, after doing some research on the poster which seems serious and in good blue-board standing.
