Hello everyone:

What account type is better in my case?
I’m an IT specialist and a part-time freelancer translator (I have not any linguistic education). Whereas, my wife is a professional linguist. We would like to work through one profile (with all contact and payment data filled on my name), but show both our skills in field “About me”. I’m inclining to change the account type to “other”. But what in that case is a better choice for the account type - ”freelancer”, “company” or “other”?

Thank you for your answer.

A "Freelancer" account type seems to be the correct option Jan 22, 2015

Hello 2rus,

In this case, a "Freelancer" account type could be used to represent the services you offer. The fact that your profile will be used to represent two people does not change that your intention is to operate on ProZ.com as freelancers.

If it is your intention to outsource work through ProZ.com as well, you may want to choose a "Freelancer and outsourcer" account type instead,

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any question or need anything else. You can also submit a support request through the Support center to contact site staff directly.

Best regards,
Alejandro
