First a warm "Hello" to the ProZ forum!icon_smile.gif

As a newbie here, I am in the process of getting my profile complete... And I encountered complicationsicon_wink.gif

You can get credentials in your language pairs, right? But my problem is that my University (Swansea University, Wales, UK) is not listed in the drop down menu, or at least I could not find it (at first I thought that it was maybe "ABER", because Swansea in Welsh is Abertawe, but that was Aberstwyth)...

So I wanted to ask whether any of you had the same problem?

I could also take the University of Vienna, because I also got a Master's degree from there, but not in translation, only English and American Studies, which was monolingual, so I don't know if it counts as credentials for a language pair?

Any help or suggestion is appreciated!icon_smile.gif

Enter name in 'Other' Oct 19, 2016

Don't use the dropdown list, just type it in (in the field 'Other'). That way it will display correctly and exactly the way you want it to.

Record for Swansea University created Oct 20, 2016

Hi Nikola,

I just wanted to let you know that a record for Swansea University has been now created here, http://www.proz.com/translator_associations/2054 . You can now associate it to your credentials.

Also, remember that if you have a scanned copy of your credentials you can submit them in a support request here http://www.proz.com/support and have them verified.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

Paula
