The direct URL to the profile page is simple and short, and can be easily put in an email or webform to direct clients to the profile page. Could we have something similiar for the WWA link? Clients sometimes want references, and rather than direct them to other clients, a direct link to the WWA window would help. The current link to the WWA window is long and complex, and I doubt clients get to it properly, if included in an email or webform. And for someone not used to the site, the link on the page is hard to find.

Great idea Aug 2, 2009

When I have a slow day, I sometimes contact several agencies in one go. This often generates multiple requests for references and I'm reluctant to create a situation in which a referee is inundated with lots of reference requests at once.

John's suggestion of a nicely presented page with an easy link is a good one.

You can go to www.tinyurl.com and create and name your own little url for your WWA page. This is astoundingly simple to do.

something like wwa.proz.com/%ID% would be very simple to implement. And it's tiny enough (g).

Regards

Vito

Thanks! That works perfectly. You can make up your own extension which looks a lot better.
