Is there a more direct way/option for limiting forum searches to the forum one is currently viewing?

The present situation appears to be that one has to enter a search term in the forum search box and then select the forum from a rather long forum list.

It would be useful to have a separate "Search current forum" button.

Good idea Aug 6, 2009

It would also be useful to have a "search forums" option on the home page, just as there is a "search translations" option at the bottom of the KudoZ box (on the home page).

Not sure what you mean Aug 6, 2009

Hi Niraja

Thanks for confirming that it is a good idea

I'm not quite sure where you want to see a new "search forums" option. After all, there is already a Forums box in the search options you see when you click on the magnifying glass to the right of the search box in the top right corner of any ProZ page. Are you aware of this?

Green Translator Aug 6, 2009

Hi Niraja

I just had a look at your ProZ profile and saw your 'green translator' article at http://www.proz.com/translation-articles/articles/1316/

As you can see from the article available http://hetranslations.blogspot.com/2009/07/home-work-we-love-it.html , for example, I too am pretty keen on green issues

Best wishes

I've made a note of it and will definitely read it later on when I have more time.

Have a good day!
