The Blue Board is not as effective as it could be for the simple reason that we have no idea when someone is posting an inquiry about a company, and the asker will therefore not get information in time to make a decision on whether or not to accept a job from that co.

I think it should be possible to post a question in the forum (establish a new category, maybe) while at the same time entering the info on the Blue Board, and then directing answerers to use the BB to enter their experience.

There are many, many companies on the BB with no ratings, because we don\'t know that somebody asked!

I\'d be interested in others\' opinions on this.

Hi Trudy,

If you go to your job/kudoz e-mails, there is a box to check which says \'Check this box if you are willing to respond to inquiries regarding client payment practices.\' This then sends you out an e-mail whenever somebody enquires about an agency.

Trouble is, this functionality wasn\'t advertised, so you have to go and check it manually. Which involves proactivity. So I suspect the vast majority of proz haven\'t activated this option.
