When you post a Kudoz Query you get an e-mail back from ProZ syaing the query has been 'emailed to 'n' language professionals who may be able to help' and then you get a URL and a 'password'

What is this password used for??

Access to question Jul 8, 2003

The ProZ.com system needs to check if someone trying to grade a question is really the asker. The password allows you to access the question even when you're not logged in - bear in mind that questions are also asked by non-members.

HTH - best regards, Ralf

Why did this thread not appear on the home page as a 'Recent Forum Message"?? I have asked the question about the password to several of the ProZ members when private message conversations occurred - and no one knew what the password was for - so it might be a general interest topic.
