Authorization key for web hosting

Hello,

I already sent a support mail but haven't received any answer so far.

I tried to build my webpage with Proz hosting service. Everything went fine until it came to the payment page on which a required field with "authorization key" (from Proz staff) appears. I first did the payment stuff and already received a confirmation for my order.
But I am not able to proceed with building up my site (what is, according to the instructions) possible with the online site creator.

I am wondering where I can find and edit the site. Or is this only possible after having the site registered?

Greetings
Anett Kiefer

Mail, forum posting or Support Request? Sep 10, 2003

Hi Anett,
I already sent a support mail but haven't received any answer so far.

I noted your forum posting yesterday - did you also send a Support Request, using the corresponding page on the site?
Given the avalanche of e-mails hitting ProZ.com, the site team cannot respond to requests by e-mail.

I cannot answer your query - just trying to make sure it gets through. Site staff regularly check this forum, too, but I know they were rather busy over the last few days.

Best regards, Ralf

Support request Sep 11, 2003

Dear Ralf,

Thanks for your answer.

Yes, I used the "Support" form to get an answer to my question. I hope I will receive one within the next few days since I already paid for the domain and would therefore like to proceed.

Greetings
Anett Kiefer

I meanwhile received the authoritzation key. Everything is fine.

Dear Diane,

You will get the authorization key when Proz receives confirmation of payment. I had to wait two days until I got the "key".

Good luck with your site!

Greetings
Anett Kiefer

Hosting setup delay is still causing confusion Nov 3, 2003

Unfortunately there's no mention of this delay on the hosting page which says:

The sign up process takes less than 5 minutes to complete, and you will be able to start building your site immediately. ... You are still able to create and view your site in the meantime using the online site creator.

This should really be corrected to reflect the actual situation.

But I see you got your sites up and running so I'll hope for the best...
