How to report any email abuse via the support system Sep 28, 2009

Hello Ulrike,

To report any abuse or email spam through ProZ.com mail service, it is recommended to submit a support request via the support system. Just remember to add a copy of the message received, including headers, to help support staff handle the problem more efficiently.

Hello Ulrike,

Or else, if you are receiving Spam in the form of a profile message, you simply have to click on the link next to Unsolicited advertising? Spam? click here line at the bottom of the email you received in your email inbox. Or, if you are receiving Spam as an instant message, you simply have to click on the Report Spam button at the bottom of the message.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Lucia

Gender also does not matter for her?

I think this is a kind of batch spam.
You may close receiving messages from profile for a moment if you like.
Or block this user by adding it into blocked users at: http://www.proz.com/?sp=profile&eid_s=&sp_mode=settings&sp_submode=ef

I have received messages like this also Sep 29, 2009

As M. Ali, points out, these are probably sent out in a big batch (hoping they can catch some sucker--does anyone still fall for these things?). If the person has a profile on this site, as in your case, then you can ask proz.com to remove the person's profile. If not, there really isn't much you can do other than ignore the message and move on.

Me, too. Sep 29, 2009

I've gotten a couple of those...both from women who supposedly had profiles on ProZ but actually didn't. They both said they saw my picture and the e-mails indicated that they wanted to "hook up." I thought it was funny.
