The plot thickens - brute force attack??? Dec 19, 2010

Well, not having access to my email via pop for over a day now, I tried using the webmail service on my hosted account.
When I tried to log in, a short message greeted me saying my account is currently locked because a brute force attack was detected on it.
I cannot even log into the control panel for my hosted account, as I get the same message. What is going on? Did ProZ's servers really got attacked?
