Until today, when I entered Proz.com I was signed on with my profile.
Today, every time I enter Proz.com I have to sign again. I am using the same computer and nothing has changed in the configuration. Why is this happening?

Me too - or three ;o) Sep 21, 2005

Very annoying, but now it seems okay.

Perhaps it was just a glitch since ProZ has been down several times today for one reason or another.

;0)

Same here Sep 21, 2005

First I couldn't get to the site. Then I couldn't sign in (password was apparently wrong which is impossible since I have Norton Password Manager). Then I had to sign in every time I xed out and reopened. Then the whole site went down... not a good day for people who love using Kudoz glossaries...icon_frown.gif

me too.. Sep 21, 2005

Yes, I had the same problem with signing in; I tried to answer a job offer in my email, and it said I was not signed in, and when I signed in it sid it was the wrong password. Then when I went to the proz.com site, it worked OK, and was fine after that. Guess it was just a glitch! Anne

Same here. But then I requested my userid (was sent to my e-mail) and chose a new
password. Now it works. But I don't know if we will have to sign on everytime..

TIme will tell.

We had some trouble - ok now? Sep 21, 2005

We had some trouble earlier and it resulted in everyone being logged out. I believe everything is ok now; if not, please let me know.

Thanks for the reports!

I have a related problem Sep 21, 2005

When I go straight to Proz.com, everything is fine, but when I click on a link in my e-mail (such as when I'm notified that someone answered my question), I always have to log in.

This has been going on for a few weeks now. Didn't used to be like that.

Yes, same here! Sep 21, 2005

It told me that I had the wrong password and I went throug picking a new one (which I had wanted to do anyway, so no harm no foul). I did start using a new computer so attributed it to that. It is okay now. Good to hear that it was not me (I am quite technology-challenged) and only a system glitz.

Take care!
Lucinda

Same problem here Sep 22, 2005

I just had to log in fresh just now, and the log-in is lost every time I move away from the homepage.
