I will soon upgrade from Trados Suite 2007 to Studio. I registered for this Upgrade course which will take place on August 20th. What is the NEXT course that I should take, the Studio 2009 Getting Started for Translators or the Intermediate?

You should take the intermediate course Aug 11, 2010

Hi Laura,

After you take the Upgrade from SDL Trados 2007 to SDL Trados Studio 2009 course, to further deepen your knowledge and increase productivity, we recommend attendance on SDL Trados Studio 2009 Intermediate Level 2 Certification, followed by SDL Trados Studio 2009 Advanced Level 3 Certification. You will find this information for each course under
"Further Development".

You can register for upcoming sessions here: http://www.proz.com/translator-training/topic/sdl-trados-certified

Hope this answers your question.

Regards,

Soledad

Language question Aug 14, 2010

I intend to register for this course, but the interface of my Studio 2009 is in French. Do you recommend that I change it to English ? If so, how should I proceed ?

Thanks

Isabelle

Hi Isabelle,

In case you decide to change the user interface language to English (and I think it might be easier for you to follow the training if you do so), here is the relevant setting:

Course feedback Aug 22, 2010

I was very pleased with the training and the way Ulrike explained everything. She is very knowledgeable. The training helped me put aside my fears of conversion.
