I didn't get the answer to my question Jan 25

I didn't get the answer to my question that was the most important to me and the reason why I decided to participate in the webinar:
Where shall I look for the clients (who shall I contact) if I want to translate texts (even technical) from sewing and fashion desingning (French -> Polish)?

Find out who needs the services you are offering Jan 25

Hi Matylda,

Thanks for attending the webinar! As I said in the webinar, there are many different possible clients within fashion translation. It's possible to work with both agencies and direct clients.
For direct clients, you can research who needs translation in those fields you want to work in and make contact with them. LinkedIn is good for this, but it takes time as you need to find possible clients and build a relationship with them. There are lots of articles online about generating leads with LinkedIn. It's a slow process and part of your marketing strategy.
With agencies, if you investigate online, you'll find there are agencies advertising themselves as offering fashion translations. Contacting them with details of your experience/understanding of fashion can be a good first step to building a client base.
If you are a blogger, then blogging about your niche field in the language(s) you're looking for clients can be a good string to your bow, especially with direct clients.
I hope that has been of help, have a great week!
